Membership

Please read the following membership guidelines established by the SCWDA.

Members of the SCWDA will not discriminate against race, color, religion, sex, handicap, national origin, age or ethnic group; nor will the members of the SCWDA support or participate in any organization or activity which engages in discriminatory practices.

Membership

Membership is open to all past and present US Armed Service members, government civilian employees and contractors. To include any person in good character standing interested in the mission of the SCWDA.

Voting Rights

All due paying members are granted the privilege to vote for the SCWDA Officers and on issues of an organizational nature proposed by the Officers.

Application Fee

Each candidate will be asked to submit a $20.00 membership fee at the time of application for membership to the SCWDA. Active membership will expire after one-year from date of application. Members can renew membership each year by donating the appropriate dues. Application fees for membership are non-refundable.

Membership Card

A membership card will be issued after the SCWDA Treasurer processes the membership application.

Liability of Members

The SCWDA is not liable for any member’s debts, obligations, or other liabilities.

Transferability of Memberships

Memberships cannot be transferred.

Termination of Membership

  1. Membership will automatically terminate on the occurrence of any of the following causes:

Note:  Petition for reinstatement of membership cannot occur until after two years of date of termination.
